Fresh water in the U.S: The majority of our water is mostly salt water. So when we keep the water running we are wasting most of our drinking water. Only 28% of our water is fresh, so we must use our water wisely.
Save water in your kitchen
Rinse dirty dishes efficiently. Fill your dishwasher with dishes that are dirty instead of letting it run with just a few dishes. Make sure to always fill dishwasher completely. So you don't waste water in the kitchen.
Save water in the restroom
Check all faucets, pipes, and toilets periodically for leaks. Install water saving shower heads and also take shorter showers or take a bath instead. Install a high efficiency toilet that uses less water or fill the tank up with a gallon jug filled with rocks. Check for toilet leaks using dye. Don`t use a toilet as a wastebasket. Install high efficiency, low-flow faucet aerators on faucets. Turn off the water while shaving or brushing teeth.
Save water Outside
Other ways to conserve water is to use a soil probe to see if the soil needs to be watered instead of watering your garden everyday. The probe can be used to see if the soil is wet or dry. And a tip you can use is 12321 means how many times you have to water your plants each month.
